Playing catch up here - here's Tuesday's color - blue, turquoise, etc.  This was taken in the Turks & Caicos a couple years ago - a quick weekend trip when the flights and hotels were cheap, an escape from the city.   

Colors - A day behind - Yellow

Good Tuesday to you all -
I've been remiss in my posts but am trying to make up for it starting today (I know, promises, promises).  Anyway, thanks to Mav at port2port I came across Mecozy's idea for a colors for each day of the week.  I'm a day behind, but will catch up - so Monday's color was Yellow and today I received my earrings from Abigail!  And I'm inspired by these fantastic earrings and Abigail's talent so wanted to share them with you all - plus they are yellow (okay gold, but close enough):

Cool Blog #1: port2port

So I've decided to start a new category, one that addresses all the cool blogs I've seen.  There are loads of fantastic blogs out there, and I come across new ones everyday.   Today's cool blog is port2port, which I found in a roundabout way that I have no recollection of now.   Anyway, here are the reasons why I think port2port is cool and why you should probably check out the site:

1. The blog is really cleanly and beautifully designed with a great banner
2. The above, really enables you to focus on one of the coolest part of the site and that's mav's photography.   She has the ability to see the beauty in the everyday things.  It's one of those things that you wish you could do, and that even if you did, you can't quite capture it on film.
3. She does limited edition letterpress notecards that are beautiful - check them out
4. She has a great collection of links to other cool blogs and has visitors who obviously really enjoy her blog and regularly check it out
5. It makes me happy to see a new post on port2port
