Okay work's a bit busy with numerous things going on - some exciting, some deadly boring. Looking for hotels is deadly boring. At any rate, I saw a friend of mine tonight who when she saw me said, "update your site!" That friend (and you know who you are) reminded me that admist all the chaos at work I still need to keep up with my creative outlet. Luckily despite all the said chaos I have found some moments on the weekend to enjoy little peeps of life. Recently, I went into this store in Brooklyn - a flea mart of sorts - where upstairs you find all sorts of treasures piled up - so piled up that you must have patience to climb over furniture, clothes, or racks to get into the corners where some people are wary of going. One of the most excellent and surprising parts of the store is there amazing collection of records. If you go to their backroom, they are all piled up around you. But it's not until you turn the corner that you realize that there's a basement level that's filled with records as far as the eye can see. Legend says that DJ Shadow often shops here.
