I love thanksgiving, I hope everyone has a lovely time this year.  Despite all the chaos in the world, we all have a lot to be thankful for.  For me, I'm thankful my voice is finally coming back so I can ask people to pass me more pie without getting made fun of.  Happy Thanksgiving!

What's in your purse?

I cleaned out my purse and have streamlined the contents.  Here's what's left: Rosebud salve, make up bag, Rhodia notebook for class, felt tip pen, vitamins, Moleskin weekly planner, blackberry (not shown since I'm taking the picture with it).   If I manage to keep it this tidy it will be a shocker. 

I may be crazy...

but, having a home blog feels like it's restricting my ability to put up fun design stuff.   So I'm going to attempt to have two blogs.  This is really ambitious of me - namely because I can be a slacker at times.  So we're going to see how this goes.  Part of the reason for coming back to this blog is that people are still freaking commenting on it!  That surprises me and also makes me want to keep posting.   Secondly, I am starting design classes and I need a place to put all my inspiration, etc.  In the past the blog seemed to be the most efficient. 

So I'm going to keep the design oriented things here and then the house specific items over at Everything But the Kitchen Sink.   There may be some cross over, which I think the 2 or 3 people who may jump between the two blogs will be okay with.  : )

Hello there! It's been a crazy past few weeks.  I'm not sure where to even start.  I decided the best way was to sum it up in pictures  But then I realized they needed some explanation - especially the last one. 

Top Row: Babies and BBQs in the backyard,  Yummy going away dinner for dear friend

Middle Row:  Wedding Invitations - been designing them for what feels like ages.  The bride is crazy.  She's my friend and I feel like I'm qualified to say that. 

Bottom Row:  Birthday BBQ with my boyfriend's family and friends until it rained and then it became crowded dining room party.  Last day of boyfriend's family visit - it seems fitting that their last image is of the naked cowboy in times square. 

So that's just a few of the things that have been keeping me busy over the past couple weeks.  It's been crazy but fun.  I'm happy to be back in blogger world though and hope there are still some visitors.  More to come over the next couple days.
