I finally saw Mr. and Mrs. Smith and while I won't comment on the plot, characters, or Bradelina or whatever they are called, I had to bring up the set design by Victor Zolfo who has created a mid-centry modernist's wet dream with the Smith House. The three rooms I liked the best are below.
First the living room, love the warm yet clean lines of the furniture and the light fixture is amazing.
My favorite room is the kitchen with the stainless steel (I'd probably tone it down a little but it works) contrasted against the tiled counter and matching tiled wall - irredescent and earthy. Throughout the ktichen are warm touches of ceramics.
Finally, the dining room, the chandelier is beautiful, so airy looking but very striking.

I totally hear you with this one Shash. It was a beautiful set. If only we had 300 K to decorate our own places.

does anyone know where one could get in contact w/ Victor Zolfo. He should have a list of the resources used on the set design?
Thanks.

Anyone know where the wall ovens in the kitchen came from? The fridge (which appears to be an absurd ninety-something inches wide) looks like Sub-Zero components with a custom condenser grill, but the oven design doesn't look familiar. Since it's actively used, I have a bad feeling it might be from the set design shop. Thanks everyone!

Try Oceanside glass tile for the tile source...

Michael- The wall ovens are from a company called 'Smeg' in Spain

Is there a good "knockoff" of the dining room chandelier. The original cost a fortune! But it sure is beautiful!

I am very interested in the living room chandelier also and was looking at the Droog Design 85 Lamp Chandelier and it doesn't appear to be the same. In the movie, the chandelier appears to have glass spheres around the light bulbs and they are separated into 3 groups, whereas the Droog Design version has just bulbs (no glass suround) and all of the lights are in one bunch. Does any one have any more info on this chandelier?

Does anyone have an idea of the make on the grandfather clock shown in the distant background of photo three (shown in greater detail in the movie)? It is hard finding modernist timepieces of that size.

Would anyone have an idea about the swivel chairs in the therapist office? I am looking for a couple of comfortable and modern swivel chairs.

I did find a brand something similar to the chandelier. Look up the brand Arcadian Lighting.

Still wondering about the dinning set ... any info? I am particularly interested in the chairs. I love the cutout in the center and they look to be covered in leather or possibly suede.

Wow, you guys really love your interior design. This kitchen is not a set design, but from an actual house somewhere in the Hollywood Hills. Unfortunetly it is a private residence and not open to the public.
